New Things in 2008
It’s been a while. The end of the year is typically a period of downtime yet at the same time a level of busy, busy, busy that foregoes things like writing things down.
A few things then:
- I’m pleased to announce (as has already been announced by others) that I’m riding for Half Acre Cycling. The temporary website was launched late on Monday, which I designed. The team is made up of a solid group of people. We’re not PRO’s by far but we ride hard and are committed to the team. We’re a small team and we intend on staying pretty small and intimate. I’m looking forward to the kits when they supposedly ship at the end of the month.
- I’ve started my intentions to change my performance for this year by doing more riding and sticking to a more structured fitness plan. It’s not second nature yet by far but they’re in my mind so I know they’ll be there to call on.
- Friend Jenny Oh in SF invited me to join the Flickr group, Ride 365. It’s intent is to document your riding habits through photos. I’ve got 4 for the year up, with 2 missing. 6 for 10 isn’t too bad thus far. I’ve had a lot of work to catch up on.
- Oddly enough or not, I’ve been working on a lot of cycling related stuff. Two more things will surface at some point.
