Dad-in-law got a tracheotomy this summer as a side effect of radiation and chemo — no more lymph nodes in his neck means the liquid builds up and swells up his throat making breathing difficult.
It was incredibly sad to see the amount of medical machinery around the house.
He weighs less than I do these days.
But is stable and on the mend.
Can I say, fuck cancer again?
Yes I can.
