absenter.org was my very first domain, purchased in 1999. it first served as a blog and journal. it then morphed into its previous final form, a photo blog. i've not stopped taking photos, and i've detailed my journey with photography. since i now work on building a mac photo editor called aphera, the return of this site is a way to continue to share my images in a looser and regular manner. i've missed it.

some elements of the former version are here: the color matching is retained, now with a much bigger canvas, along with the minimal text.

the site is coded in panic's nova, made with 11ty, and uses pitch sans by klim type foundry. stats are public and served by umami, mostly to see referrers and a way for me to discovers other, like the old days.
